Your mission

You'll be a key link between financial planning and financial control - owning the budgeting and forecasting cycle end-to-end while also supporting month-end close, provisions, and cost accounting for our production operations. You'll partner closely with department heads and senior leadership, turning numbers into insights that shape decisions on the shop floor and in the boardroom alike. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys both the analytical, forward-looking side of finance and the discipline of getting the closing details right.

Your responsibilities
  • Actively participating in the annual budgeting process and periodic rolling forecasts end-to-end (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Collecting, consolidating, and validating budgeting data from various departments
  • Partnering with department heads and senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve forecast accuracy
  • Preparing variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and highlighting discrepancies
  • Supporting month-end and quarter-end closing activities, calculating provisions and IFRS accounting adjustments
  • Preparing and monitoring short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
  • Calculating the total cost of goods manufactured based on data provided by the production team (materials, labor, overhead, machine/line utilization, waste/scrap rates)
  • Identifying process improvements and driving automation of reporting and budgeting workflows
  • Preparing board-level or executive materials on financial performance and outlook
  • Preparing and maintaining financial models and templates
  • Assisting with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
Your skills & experience
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, or similar) is a strong plus
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Financial Controller roles, ideally including exposure to a manufacturing or production environment
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and hands-on experience with month-end/quarter-end closing, provisions, and accounting adjustments
  • Practical knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, overhead allocation, and calculating cost of goods manufactured (materials, labor, machine/line utilization, waste/scrap rates)
  • Proven experience building and maintaining rolling forecasts and annual budgets across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Strong financial modeling skills and comfort building templates and tools from scratch
  • Advanced Excel skills
